A comprehensive research prompt for Claude Code / Claude Desktop that autonomously investigates any B2B Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
What it does
Given a target persona description (e.g. "HR manager at recruitment agency >500 employees"), this skill:
- Maps the ICP - roles, company types, KPIs, team structures
- Researches workflows - daily tasks, time allocation, tools used
- Finds pain points - real complaints from forums, Reddit, LinkedIn, Telegram
- Analyzes costs - software expenses, personnel costs, budget ranges
- Collects quotes - authentic quotes with source links
Output
A structured markdown report with 5 sections:
- ICP Workflow Analysis (time allocation, tools, processes)
- Pain Points & Struggles (top 5-7 with evidence)
- Cost Analysis (direct + indirect costs)
- Authentic Quotes & Sources (with links)
- Key Insights Summary (opportunities, market size indicators)
