AI Search / GEO Optimization scores a site's readiness for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity across citability, structure, brand signals, and crawler access. Use it to improve AI search visibility or evaluate llms.txt and AI crawler access. It requires server-side rendering since AI crawlers don't execute JavaScript.

What it does

AI Search / GEO Optimization analyzes and improves a site's visibility in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar AI search systems, built on a documented statistical basis: AI Overviews reach 1.5 billion users a month across 200+ countries and cover 50%+ of queries, AI-referred sessions grew 527% between January and May 2025, and, critically, brand mentions correlate roughly 3x more strongly with AI visibility than backlinks (Ahrefs, December 2025, 75,000 brands), with YouTube mentions the single strongest signal at roughly 0.737 against Domain Rating's weak 0.266. Only 11% of domains get cited by both ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews for the same query, so it treats platform-specific optimization as essential rather than optional.

When to use - and when NOT to

Use it when improving visibility in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar systems, evaluating llms.txt readiness or AI crawler access, or when the user asks about GEO, AI SEO, LLM visibility, or AI citations. It scores five weighted criteria - citability (25%), structural readability (20%), multi-modal content (15%), authority and brand signals (20%), and technical accessibility (20%) - and is explicit that AI crawlers do not execute JavaScript, so server-side rendering is a hard requirement rather than a nice-to-have.
