Overview
Payment Accounting
Defines a payment evidence setup that distinguishes vouchers from recipient acknowledgements. Requested artifacts share one field list. Use when payment records need an explicit evidence category and acknowledgement reference.
What it does
Payment Accounting recommends the smallest useful setup for recording payment evidence. A short recommendation is the default deliverable; requested artifacts share one field list so their definitions remain consistent.
Its central rule is that a payment voucher cannot replace a receipt note in every case. When a formal voucher is absent, the evidence must be the recipient's own acknowledgement. Examples include an email, signed payment advice or stamped receipt. Voucher Type records the evidence category, while Recipient Acknowledgement Ref captures the acknowledgement reference. Leaving the voucher type unrecorded makes the payment difficult to evidence later.
Inputs and outputs
An explicit build request can produce CSV, SQL DDL, JSON Schema or a Notion mapping.
Source README
Works out the smallest useful Payment Accounting setup for the business in front of it, then
builds it only when asked. The default output is a short recommendation, not a
spreadsheet. Artifacts - CSV, SQL DDL, JSON Schema, Notion mapping - are produced on
request, from one field list so they cannot drift apart.
The rule this table exists to enforce: a payment voucher is not a universal
substitute for a receipt note. Where no formal voucher exists, the evidence is the
recipient's own acknowledgement - an email, a signed payment advice, a stamped receipt -
captured as such. That is what Voucher Type and Recipient Acknowledgement Ref are for.
A payment with no voucher type recorded is a payment nobody can evidence later.
