When to use - and when NOT to

Use it when you want an AI assistant to create a Word document from scratch, add and format headings/paragraphs/tables/images/lists, build styled tables for reports or technical documentation, add footnotes/endnotes or comments, merge multiple documents, convert Word files to PDF, or apply password protection and digital signatures. Do not use it for spreadsheet or presentation formats - its scope is specifically .docx Word documents.

Capabilities

Document management: create documents with metadata, extract text and analyze structure, view properties/statistics, list documents in a directory, copy or merge documents, convert to PDF.

Content creation: headings and paragraphs with direct formatting (font, size, bold, italic, color, borders), tables from custom data, proportionally scaled images, page breaks, bulleted/numbered lists with proper XML formatting, footnotes/endnotes (with style customization and footnote-to-endnote conversion), and content insertion relative to existing text or paragraph indices.

How to install

Install automatically for Claude Desktop via Smithery:
