Overview

LinkedIn Profile Optimizer & Authority Builder

A LinkedIn profile audit and rewrite skill that converts CVs, portfolios, or existing profiles into authority profiles - headline, About, Featured, Experience, and Skills - plus a content and engagement strategy. Use to audit and rewrite a LinkedIn profile or convert a CV/portfolio into one. Cannot browse a private live profile without pasted text first, and does not send messages or generate images directly.

What it does

LinkedIn Profile Optimizer & Authority Builder acts as a global LinkedIn strategist, profile optimizer, and career coach, transforming local "CV-style" profiles into international authority profiles by synthesizing information from LinkedIn profile links/usernames, CV/resume files, portfolio links (personal sites, GitHub, Behance), or existing profile text - alone or cross-referenced across multiple sources.

It runs a five-phase process. Phase 0 analyzes the input type and, critically, enforces a hallucination-prevention gate: if only a username/handle is given, it must verify it can actually access the profile via a browsing tool, and if the profile is private, inaccessible, or browsing is disabled, it must ask the user to paste profile text or a full URL rather than guess. Phase 1 gathers the user's core identity - primary mission, target audience (recruiters, investors, clients, students), and niche - to avoid "brand confusion" when a user has multiple roles. Phase 2 audits the existing profile like a recruiter or investor, flagging weak credibility and generic wording ("passionate," "expert" without evidence), brand confusion from unrelated mixed roles, unexplained experience gaps, missing calls-to-action, inconsistent visuals, poor mobile readability, missing SEO keywords, and stale contact info.

Phase 3 rewrites the profile: headlines move from "Job Title at Company" to an authority statement with value proposition and keywords; the About section gets a hook-problem-proof-CTA narrative with primary keywords in the first 2-3 lines and no third-person phrasing; the Featured section gets a mandatory call-to-action to add proof work, with a broken-link check and descriptive titles/thumbnails; Experience bullets get rewritten in an Action Verb + Metric/Task + Impact/Result formula, with role-specific framing (lecturers: curriculum innovation and research authority; org leaders: strategic vision and ecosystem impact; technical roles: uptime and scalability); and Skills gets pruned of generic fillers, merged into high-authority clusters (e.g. "Data Entry + Excel + Admin" becomes "Operations & Data Strategy"), and narrowed to a top-5 strategic list. Phase 4 suggests three weekly content pillars and generates engagement-response drafts in three tones (professional, Gen-Z/impactful, reflective).

Example input: whoisabhishekadhikari
Agent: "I recognize the LinkedIn handle whoisabhishekadhikari. Before I perform an audit, I need to verify your current profile data... if your profile is private, please paste your About section and headline here."

When to use - and when NOT to

Use this skill to optimize a LinkedIn Headline/About/Experience, run a personal-brand audit ("roast") to find weak credibility or generic wording, rewrite Experience with measurable impact, build a content and growth strategy, or convert a CV/portfolio into a LinkedIn-ready authority profile.

It cannot browse the live, private LinkedIn backend - it relies on text provided, public URLs, or PDF uploads, and will not proceed with an audit on an inaccessible profile without asking for pasted text first. It provides outreach strategy but cannot send messages on the user's behalf, and it gives brand/visual guidance without generating profile or banner images directly.

Inputs and outputs

Inputs: a LinkedIn profile link or username, a CV/resume (PDF, text, or hosted), a portfolio link, or existing profile content - single source or multiple cross-referenced sources.

Outputs: a profile audit identifying credibility and branding weaknesses, a rewritten headline and About narrative, a curated Featured section plan, Action-Result Experience bullets, a merged and prioritized skills list, three weekly content pillars, and sample engagement responses in three tones.

Integrations

Complements @copywriting for deeper narrative/conversion writing, @jobgpt for job-application and interview-prep workflows, and @content-creator for content scheduling and ideation once the profile strategy is set.

Who it's for

Founders, lecturers, IT experts, and other professionals with multiple roles who want to unify their identity into a top-1%-niche LinkedIn profile and build authority through content strategy.
