Prototypes

Prototypes is a Mesh theme in the colours and type of Prototypes Ventures: warm orange on dark ink, with its own board and dashboard layout.

What you get

The Prototypes palette: brand orange for primary actions, dark ink for text and the dark mode, bright cyan, green and yellow accents.
A different board: tasks are grouped in status bands with a filter by person and a quick new card, instead of classic columns.
A dashboard on its own grid, with a "due this week" widget at the top.
Light and dark modes.

When to pick it

Pick Prototypes if your team works in the Prototypes Ventures brand, or if you prefer reading the board by status bands and people rather than columns. Switching themes changes only appearance and layout; tasks, comments and settings stay as they are.

Where it is configured

An administrator sets the theme for the instance, and a workspace can choose its own. Projects follow their workspace.

Permissions

None. A theme has no access to the API, events, secrets or the network.

Install

Built into Mesh, nothing to download. Choose it in Extensions under Themes. The theme id is board-studio, kept from its earlier name so workspaces that already picked it keep it. Updates ship with Mesh.
